Friday's French Fridays with Dorie was a very easy recipe. Cherry tomatoes were cut in half, sprinkled with some olive oil, salt and pepper. Garlic and herbs were added and they were roasted in a 225 degree oven for three hours. I have a similar recipe that we serve with goat cheese and baguettes.
This method brings out a sweetness in the tomatoes. I mixed mine with some cannelloni beans, red onions and a vinaigrette for a salad for lunch.
Lots of great ideas this week!
ReplyDeleteNice salad! I can imagine eating this on an Italian piazza.

ReplyDeletea try sometime soon.
In total agreement with Nana - though I will definitely try to get her to make this salad :) great job !
ReplyDeleteOh! I have been at no loss for things to use these in but I didn't think of white bean salad!!! Good one! I finally got around to making them and they were perfect tucked into Bison Burgers I made last night. I'm afraid they aren't lasting long as I'm eating the rest like candy.
